Here are Patrick and Sophia in the baby's room hanging up the curtains. Well, Patrick is obviously hanging them up but Sophia has to be right there, on the same chair, as he does so. Sophie loves helping Daddy build things and always has to be right there and in on all the action. She is a great little helper and feels SO important when she can do a small task. She is very detail-oriented. Sophie also still loves to help me load/unload the washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. She is now really getting into dolls, still loves books and being outside. She now walks around the house and sings and is talking ALL THE TIME! Her favorite new phrase is, "What's that?" She loves saying "hi" and "bye" to everyone that she sees, even people talking on the TV or to an airplane in the sky. There is no doubt that she is a
very friendly little girl. Temper tantrums are a frequent event at our house, unfortulantely, but I guess it's just a sign of the age that she is.
Sophia is such a joy to have in our lives who brings so much laughter and love into each and every one of our days.

This is me at 38 weeks. I have 4 more days left until my scheduled c-section on the 17th. I am very uncomfortable now and am having a hard time doing pretty much everything. To say the least, I cannot wait until Thursday!!

Sophie getting a fun ride on the "horsey"!

Sophie enjoying a cool summer (or September) snack.

Sophie and Daddy having lunch at her new table and chairs. Yes, it's a very comfy chair for Daddy to sit in too!!

Sophie's hair is really getting thicker and longer now. This particular morning she woke up with quite the "do"!!
