Gavin Patrick Has Arrived!!

HE'S HERE!! Finally!! This is Gavin's first picture.

My c-section was scheduled for Sep. 17 but on the night of Sep. 15 my water broke (10:20 pm) and then things started to happen pretty fast after that. Contractions started pretty much instantly and as soon as my neighbor came over to watch Sophie and grandparents were called, we took off to the hospital. When I got there my contractions were 3 min. apart and his head was very low (NO kidding!!) and so we bumped someone else going to the OR because our little guy wasn't going to wait! Everything else went very smoothly from there and Gavin was born. We couldn't believe that he was 7 lbs, 12 oz (over a pound more than Sophia!). He is very healthy and just a little doll! He has a good amount of dark brown hair with dark gray/blue eyes. We are not quite sure who he looks like yet and are so lucky to have him in our lives!!

Gavin Patrick. Poor little guy, his face is just so swollen!

Grandma and Grandpa Berger seeing Gavin for the first time. They came over to our house that night to watch Sophie and then all came to the hospital in the morning to visit.

I still can't believe that I now am the mother of 2 children!!

Grandma and Grandpa Volesky spent the whole night driving from ND and finally arrived to meet their 1st grandson.

"Yeah! Gavin is here!"

Gavin is such a good baby. We actually didn't know that a baby could be that good! Sophie was definitely more demanding and particular about things. Gavin is just so content and quite. I know that will probably change but we can already see the differences between our daughter and son.
