Fun at Home

Here is our little monkey! Sophie is so adventerous and aggressive. When it comes to things like climbing, flipping and swinging she has no fear. Other times though, for example, if she hears a strange noise, she makes a face and runs straight into our arms!
We have been busy getting the baby's room ready and recently have gotten all our major pieces of furniture. So far it is turning out great and I am having a wonderful time decorating another room which is totally different from the other last one. The colors for the room are green (olive branch is the exact name), white and navy blue with espresso colored furniture. Now we just need to accessorize! Today when we were all in the baby's room organizing things, Sophia was really acting up and HAD to be held. We all left the room and later were back in there and the same thing happened. We think that she was getting upset because she knows that we were not focused on her but this "new baby brother" that we keep talking about. Poor Sophia! I know that she will get used to having another sibling around but it saddens me to think that she will at times be hurt and feel like this our new baby is taking her mommy and daddy from her. I hope the transition will go ok.

One of Sophia's favorite things to do...SWING! (oh, and suck her thumb of coarse!)

Daddy, Sophia and Millie.

Daddy and his girls.

Dancing!

Sophie and the neighbor kids (Will, Ellie and their friend, Grace) playing on the jungle gym. It was the first time that Sophie has ever had anyone over to really play with! She and the other kids all had a good time. Sophie is definitely used to being the center of attention when these kids are taking turns holding her and jumping at her every need and want! Now when she goes outside she immediatly is looking over into their yard, waving and saying "Hi!". Then she just makes her way over into their yard to play with her friends. So funny! Sophie is such a BIG GIRL already!
